Approved public sources are refreshed on a defined cadence. Raw source snapshots are retained so later normalization does not erase the original evidence.
Our objective is not to replace the authoritative public source. It is to make fragmented local construction evidence easier to discover, connect and understand.
When a public record explicitly names a trade or scope, ConstructionCurrent labels that match Source-backed. When a project type strongly implies likely involvement, such as plumbing and HVAC on a restaurant tenant improvement, the platform labels the match Likely and shows the rationale and confidence. Neither label means that work is open for bid.
Approved public sources are refreshed on a defined cadence. Raw source snapshots are retained so later normalization does not erase the original evidence.
Different municipal schemas are mapped into a common set of permit, project, location, contractor and status fields.
Related records are conservatively linked into project timelines using identifiers, jurisdiction, location and other defensible relationships.
Trade and work-type classifications are added as a separate intelligence layer, never blended invisibly into the public-source facts.
Location, trade, ZIP and project-type pages are customer-accessible even when thin, but ConstructionCurrent only asks search engines to index them after they clear minimum real-record volume, recency and differentiation thresholds. This keeps the public site useful without manufacturing low-value pages.
