Search earlier than the permit

Planning applications, development maps and public hearings can reveal project intent earlier than an issued building permit. The tradeoff is uncertainty: an early proposal is a signal, not a guarantee.

Prioritize by fit

Filter by geography, project type, scope keywords and likely trade involvement. Then review the project narrative and supporting documents. A concrete contractor should care about site development, foundations, paving and civil scope differently than an electrical contractor cares about service, lighting, tenant improvements or equipment.

Verify the commercial path

Before outreach, determine whether the project is public procurement, privately negotiated work, already under a general contractor, or still too early for trade awards. ConstructionCurrent is designed to shorten research time, not replace contractor judgment or procurement verification.
