A project is bigger than a permit

Public construction information is usually divided by agency, record type and project stage. A land-use application may appear months before a building permit. Trade permits may appear separately from the parent project. Inspections and certificates of occupancy arrive later still.

ConstructionCurrent treats the project as the customer-facing object and each public record as evidence. We preserve the source of each fact, keep our own trade inference separate from source-backed information, and retain changes instead of silently overwriting history.

What we connect

Our local graph can include development applications, permit records, public hearings, inspection activity, occupancy signals, public works, parcel and zoning context, and project documents where a public agency makes them available.

Not every jurisdiction publishes the same record classes. Coverage pages therefore show what is live, what source is known but still being integrated, and where a true gap remains.

What we do not claim

A likely trade match is not the same as an open bid. A public development proposal is not a guarantee that construction will occur. A permit record can change. ConstructionCurrent labels interpretation separately and links customers back to the authoritative source for critical verification.
