Castle Rock publishes the lifecycle in pieces

Castle Rock's Development Activity Map is one of the strongest early project sources in the area. The Town also publishes building-permit and certificate-of-occupancy databases, public hearing notices, inspection activity and monthly Development Services reporting.

Those sources are more useful together than separately because they can reveal a project before construction, show issued building activity, provide inspection evidence and later confirm occupancy.

Why project documents matter

Development project pages and agenda materials can include site plans, narratives, drainage reports, traffic studies, utility information, landscape plans and other technical documents. These details often provide better scope intelligence than the permit title alone.

For contractors

Use development and hearing records to identify projects early. Use permit and inspection records to understand timing. Use project-document scope to prioritize which trades are likely involved. Verify bid availability separately before treating any project as a sales opportunity.
